Born in Hamilton to Irish parents, Stephen was instilled with a love of James Joyce, Irish poetry,
and the Pogues from a young age.
Something of a Public Relations and Advertising superstar during his time at Waikato University, an unrequited love of words
and a desire to watch football led him to London, where he succeeded in teaching English to the English.
After several years spent restoring his beloved language to its rightful state, Stephen returned home in search of a new challenge. Armed with his trusty Collins School dictionary, he set about improving the quality of spelling in the advertising industry.
In the future he hopes to teach the world to sing in perfect harmony.
