Reuben grew up in the publishing industry, with his father starting the first daily newspaper in New Zealand, before founding NZ Geographic, NZ Adventure and NZ Skier magazine, and eventually moving to Rarotonga to own and run The Cook Islands News.

Upon graduating, Reuben spent time in both television and design studios in Auckland and Tauranga before he moved to the UK where he worked as a creative for some of the world’s leading advertising agencies, such as TBWA, Saatchi & Saatchi, and Cunning Stunts.

Although he enjoyed working on high profile brands, New Zealand’s oceans were calling, so (after a mammoth surf expedition around the Pacific) he set about returning home and set out to establish a nationally-recognised creative agency. The journey continues.
