Each year we challenge ourselves to make yia! more relatable to students, and this time we took it to the next level.
For the first time since we helped establish the programme (11 years ago), we’ve updated the brand identity and story – to better reflect the world students live in today.
We recently launched the 2021 campaign to reminds kids that true innovation often comes from a place of personal experience and that everyone has something unique to offer the world.
As always, the yia! competition launch was an opportunity to get the teachers on board to help inspire their students. This year, we introduced them to the new brand by holding an interactive design thinking workshop where we broke down the themes for the year as well as the problem-based learning approach which is critical for yia!
