Healthy by Nature is a publication we helped create to assist customers in making better health choices, while reinforcing the benefits of shopping at a Community Health Store. Every season, magazine and online content helps to position Community Health Stores as a resource for genuine, expert health advice, with a personal approach that relates to the general community.

We chose the name ‘Healthy by Nature’ to reflect the essence of Community Health Stores and their focus on natural health and wellbeing. As part of the design system, we incorporated a line device as a visual metaphor for how each store is connected for the benefit of the customer.

We bring each issue to life through editorial content focused on seasonal issues and trending health and wellness topics.
Every issue includes a bespoke photoshoot on location, centred around a hero article or story. This helps to reinforce the connection with our community while appealing to our key audience.
The design is audience-centric and filled with relatable products and topics for everyday people.
This includes Expert health advice; Topical health-related articles; Inspirational people and their journeys with natural health; Healthy, natural recipes; Community related news; Real New Zealand customer testimonials and stories.
Reaching beyond the stores.
An online strategy was developed for Healthy by Nature across multiple digital channels to help to grow our audience and reach. Each issue a wealth of fresh blog content and inspiration from the magazine is used to help promote Community Health Stores to the wider community.
